지난날은 강물처럼 흘러 옛 꿈이 
되고 말았습니다. 내 마음 자락에 
아직도 남아 있는 넓은 들판과 
하얀 조약돌이 깔려 있던 시냇가, 
어린 시절의 추억으로 가득 찬 그 곳. 
창공을 날고 있는 나비들의 날갯짓을 
통해 나는 내가 보고 싶었던 모든 것을 
보았습니다. 내 마음을 향해 노래 부르는 
듯한 나비들의 소리가 들립니다. 
"이봐요, 이봐요, 날 좀 바라보세요." 

"바람처럼 자유롭게, 저 바람처럼

Love was the dream of my life

사랑은 내 인생의 꿈이었어요. 사랑이

내가 겪었던 온갖 고난, 인생의 모진 경험과 
또한 즐거웠던 모든 일들, 돌이켜 보니 그다지 
큰 후회는 없습니다. 만약 우리, 삶을 사랑한다면 
나비처럼 날 수 있는 기회가 있을 거예요. 
그러나 그대, 주저앉아 버린다면 나비의 
퍼득임처럼 허무한 몸부림이 되고 말겠지요.
